This 3-2 port adapter it is available separately as well.** **Current** **adapter kit is made from Nicopp copper/nickel brake line tubing. This is an** **nice upgrade to your kit. Some of the benefits of Nicopp tubing is that** **its easier to manipulate and fit into your MC upgrade, connecting** **between the MC and your prop valve. It can be easily bent and** **manipulated by hand, without any tools. Also, it is highly resistant to** **corrosion or rusting allowing it to look great for a long time. If this** **is something you definitely want, you can request it. If you do not want** **the nicopp, you can check to see if we have any of the standard tubing.** **Just message me to check status for one of the original steel tubing** **kits. Picture 1 is the style that is now shipping. Ignore any other variations but they all do the same thing._** **_Pictures are representative. We sometimes have variations to the finishes. Currently the tube nuts on the 3-2 port kit are a green color. Same high quality brake fittings, just a different color. I will try to get some new photos and update listing._** **MC update:** Some of the new style MC may also have 2 threaded mounting holes on the backside of the casting, as can be seen in picture #3. We have been told this could be useful for those wanting to mount an external aftermarket proportioning valve or similar bracket. The thread size is metric 8mm x 1.25. Easy to obtain appropriate bolts if this is what you are planning. I will update this information if we get some additional details with a new project to possibly help someone planning something similar. Be aware that it is not necessary to use these additional mounting holes. Most will not even notice them! **If you need additional parts we may be able to customize this kit for you. This is how they connect. **NOTE: bench bleeding** Proper bleeding of the MC and brake system is important for a firm pedal & proper brake operation. Make sure you bench bleed your MC prior to installing it into the car. You will need to obtain a bench bleed kit> Sometimes we are able to provide the basic bench bleed plug kit. We currently **do not** have a kit to include for you. Also, if you are unfamiliar with proper bench bleeding, there is plenty of information on the web on how to bench bleed MC. Contact me for assistance._** **Questions:** - **Q: What vacuum booster should I use for my upgrade?** - **A: There are a few options when selecting a vacuum booster. Some have used their original OEM booster (87-93 type) with good results when upgrading to the 93 Cobra MC and will normally try their original first. If you want more power brake assist (less pedal effort) than the 87-93 style you can choose to use either a 93 Cobra style booster or the larger SN95 (94/95) style booster.** - **Q: What if I want to use the larger 1-1/16" bore MC kit?** - **A: If you plan to use the larger 1-1/16" bore MC you should match that with either the 93 Cobra booster or the 94/95 booster to gain enough brake assist. If you do not up-size the booster with the larger bore MC you will have a too-firm brake pedal with not enough brake assist making braking more difficult.** **Compatibility:** _Please read all details below before you make your purchase. This kit uses the 93 Cobra MC and it comes with a special 3-2 port MC adapter kit to allow it to be used on the 1987-1993 Mustang GT & LX models. It has the 1.0625" bore size that is a great choice for use with your rear disc conversion. This will work great with the use of Cobra rotors and calipers and also the GT/V6 rotors and calipers as well. Use with stock vacuum booster or upgrade to the SN95 booster for even more assist.
