This is a Hood Latch Secondary Release lever that works on a 1970 Plymouth Superbird. I compared it to a real Superbird one and it is the same. The release lever was sandblasted and repainted with cast iron paint. There was some rust that pitted the metal on it as seen in the pictures. Works back and forth fine, and has no wear, damage or alteration. It was taken off a 1970 Chrysler 300 so it is an original part and made the same as the Superbird original ones are. The date code says “1049”. Meaning it was made on the 104th day of 1969. The pictures show the condition. Two oem bolts are provided that also have been sandblasted and repainted with gloss black paint.
