1970 396 375 HP Big Block 4 Bolt Main CE Warranty Standard Bore Chevelle Camaro

It's been a long time since we've seen a standard bore 4 bolt main block. It has a very slight lip, our machine shop says it will build with honing only and will not need to be bored. It's also a CE warranty block so if you don't have your original numbers matching block this is the next best thing. It looks to be dated H 5 70 which would be August 5th of 1970. However casting numbers are not always the cleanest so please look for yourself if dates are important to you. See pictures for condition and wear as we rely heavily on photos. The box was actually made specifically for what I bought. I have never seen this before. There was three layers of cardboard with heavy tape. There was no way this could have been damaged or moved inside the box. The box fit it Perfectly. When I got to it, it was surrounded with bubble wrap.
