141 Oil Canister, Corvette 1958-1967, Silkscreened as Original, SKU#162

141 Oil Filter - 1958-1967, 6-13/16" long. My canister is .100 thick at top circumference as all were made by A.C. Spark Plug during production years 1958-1967. All reproduction canisters are .070 thick and do not make full contact with "O" ring seal block. Leaking can result so beware. Also, my rebuilt original can has new copper washer and new internal rubber cup seal. Lock ring permits easy disassembly of unit. Bolt headmarks pictured is one of 5 different logos found on 58-67 oil canisters. This one is "M". I have all the variants used so request the desired H.M. you want when ordering please. No head mark was designated for any particular year Corvette or Chevrolet, this was randomly done at A.C. Spark Plug. Center bolt will be zinc or cad plated.
