**This ECM fits the following: 2005-2006 Chevrolet Silverado** You must exactly match the service number 12589463 with the sticker from your Original Computer. **\*\*If the number is not an exact match it will not work\*\*** **"PLUG & PLAY"** **"PLUG & PLAY" applies to most of these ECMs. If your ECM does not apply to this we will let you know.** **When you order send us a message with the VIN Number** **The computer will NOT ship until we have the VIN** A crankshaft variation relearn may need to be performed once the vehicle is running **(does not apply if you are cloning the ECM)**. This will be evident if the check engine or service engine soon light comes on once the vehicle is running. You will need access to a scan tool capable of doing this procedure to do this and clear any related trouble codes (Code P0315). If this is not available to you a repair shop will have to perform this and clear the related trouble code. The vehicle will run normal but the "Service Engine Soon" light will come on and a trouble code will be stored until this is resolved. This is a re-manufactured unit that is tested.
