12 Pin Gentex GNTX-830 GNTX-651 GNTX-957 Backup Camera Mirror Wiring Pigtail

This listing is for a 12 pin / 7 wire plug & **pigtail** that can be used on the following mirrors that have built-in backup camera display & 12 pin plug in the back of the mirror housing **(see 2nd picture for style of connector this pigtail will fit). PLEASE NOTE: THIS PIGTAIL IS NOT FOR USE ON GHSHL4, RZLHL3 AND RZLHL4 MIRRORS WITH HOMELINK.** Gentex GNTX-651 _(Not all GNTX-651's have backup camera display & some have different styles of connectors.   Will not work on Ford/Lincoln/Mercury/Mazda mirrors.)_ Gentex GNTX-830 Gentex GNTX-957 Gentex GNTX-1074 Please note that some of the above mirrors may also have a small adapter harness in place.   In order to use the pigtail, you will need to unplug & remove the existing adapter harness, if there. **Pigtails include the following wires:** +12 volts hot with ignition on Ground +12 volts hot in reverse (camera display trigger wire) Camera video + Camera video - Camera 6 volt power + (for use with factory cameras capable of operating on 6 volts; not all mirrors have this feature) Camera ground Pigtails measure at least 6" long (most are usually longer).  Picture is representative of what you will be getting, which is a 12 pin mirror connector & wiring pigtail and it will not be 100% exactly as shown in the picture - some have heat shrink tubing on them, others have black tape, while others may have some of both, or just plain wires.  Wire colors may vary. You will receive **ONE** pigtail that has 8 wires in it, along with a pinout showing the wire functions. If you're unsure, email us BEFORE buying, as the pigtails are **not** returnable. Wiring information will be included with pigtail. **Don't know what a pigtail is?   We can't stress enough how important it is to ask questions before you buy something instead of after.  We want to be sure that you know what you're getting, so we are always more than happy to answer your questions.   Also - by buying this item, it is assumed that you have decent technical knowledge & the ability to install this in your vehicle.   If you do not, please have this professionally installed - just about any mechanic, car dealer or stereo shop can put these in for you.   It's not worth risking damaging your vehicle.
